Alyaa Ebbiary completed her undergraduate in Middle Eastern Studies and Anthropology, MA in Comparative Religion, and trained to teach RE. Her professional life thus far has involved research, teaching, project development and a bit of marketing. Much of her voluntary/ community work has been through several Muslim/ interfaith organisations across the country, which has involved various projects with training, facilitation, outreach, events organising, etc. Interests include civil society and active citizenship, the religion-culture interface as well as travel and stage musicals. She is passionate about intellectual exchange and inter-cultural understanding.
