Sinan currently works as a general physician for the National Health Service in North London. He completed his medical degree at St. George's Medical School, London and holds a Bachelors degree in Nutrition from Kings College, London.

As a student, he was a founding member of the University of London Union Islamic Society (ULU Isoc), an umbrella organisation linking Islamic societies in London towards unified and pragmatic socially conscious charitable and community initiatives. He was editor of a weekly student newsletter and the featured health writer for the Midlands based publication, The ethnic minority reporter.

In the professional arena, he has published numerous academic research papers on various medical specialties (plastic surgery, anatomy, neurosurgery, nutrition, medical education), with his current efforts focused on health and ethnicity in UK and Europe.

Sinan is spearheading City Circle's initiative to address both the causes of and current solutions to the burden of health within the ethnic minority communities. (see project Detox)

Sinan is actively involved in humanitarian work in Bosnia, Kosovo and Kashmir and is currently studying a part time Masters degree in philosophy at the University of Birkbeck.
