Event details
“Striving for more distracts you (1) until you go into the graves (2).  No indeed! You will come to know (3) No indeed! in the end you will come to know (4).  No indeed! If only you knew for certain (5).  You will most definitely see hellfire (6), you will see it with the eye of certainty (7).  On that Day, you will be asked about your pleasures (8).”
Holy Quran, Surat 102: Al Takathur (Striving for More)

While most of people work hard to accumulate wealth and possessions, Heidemarie Schwermer (http://projekte.free.de/gibundnimm - in German. Translted to English) has lived without money and only what fits in a suitcase for 15 years.  She owned a house and held a steady job, then decided to give up all her possessions and live a life less ordinary.  She spends most of her time travelling and sharing her experience and belief that the way the world works is not right and that we can live without money.

While it seems idealistic, Heidemarie’s message is, without doubt, provocative and inspiring.  Her work forces us to reconsider our relationship with money and worldly possessions.

Your current web browser must be updated to version 7 of Internet Explorer (IE7) to take advantage of all of template's capabilities.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
