Title: Why Are We So Unhappy?
Speakers: Delakshi Thanabalasingham
Date: 22 Mar 2013
Venue: Abrar House, 45 Crawford Place, W1H 4LP
Despite increasing material wealth, prestigious careers, regular travel opportunities, and wide networks, our generation often complains of an ongoing malaise. The prosperity offered by the developments of human civilisation had not always translated into genuine happiness.
In this talk, we will discuss this general dissatisfaction and seek solutions to achieve a more fulfilled life. In addition to some of the latest thinking on happiness, the speaker will share practical tools that can help increase our happiness.
This event is delivered in collaboration with The Women’s Consortium. It will be followed by a more detailed workshop. The Pursuit of Happiness will take place on Saturday 30 Mar in central London. More info here: http://www.womensconsortium.org.uk/training-2/.
