Title: 10 years on - a City Circle celebration

The City Circle invites you to an evening of relaxation and entertainment featuring Cherry Lee, an impressive singer, songwriter who will be performing live on the night; Wasim, a hugely talented beat box poet and Pete Jonas braving the crowds with his uniquely witty, live stand up comedy act.
We will be joined by many well known guests and old friends as we look back over the key events in the last ten years. In an age when media is king, we have the privilege to hear a few words from our special guest, Aaqil Ahmed who has recently been appointed Head of Religion and Ethics and Commissioning Editor of Religious Television at the BBC. He is the first Muslim to be appointed to the position and the first ethnic minority Commissioning Editor at the BBC. He is currently commissioning editor for Religion at Channel 4, where his big projects included The Qur'an, The Cult of the Suicide Bomber, Christianity: A History and BAFTA winning Saving Africa's Witch Children. He will share his experiences in reaching the top of his profession, the campaign against his appointment as the first BBC Muslim head of religion and how he integrates his personal beliefs as a Muslim with his professional role.
We will also be honoured by a group of talented visual artists who have been exclusively brought together for this event, to showcase original artwork inspired by the traditions of the Muslim world. A feast for the eyes and one not to be missed!
No expense has been spared as our supporters will be served gourmet canapes and unlimited drinks whilst they enjoy the rest of the evening mingling and catching up with the gathered crowd.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your ongoing support and continuous encouragement in the work that we endeavour to carry out and a special thanks to our avid team of volunteers who make it all possible.
